Why I Loved EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts (And Why You Will Too)

A Park Bursting with Color

From the moment I walked into EPCOT, I felt completely immersed in a painting. The colors
were vibrant, bold, and full of life — and everywhere I turned, there was something new to
discover. It truly felt like I was stepping into a living gallery.
One of the coolest parts of the experience was watching artists create stunning chalk art right
on the sidewalks as I made my way toward World Showcase. Instead of just walking into the
park, you’re walking into a masterpiece in progress

There’s something so special about seeing art created in real time. Watching the artist carefully layer colors, blend shades, and slowly bring the image to life gives you a whole new appreciation for the talent behind it. It makes the festival feel interactive and personal — like you’re witnessing magic unfold right in front of you.

Once you enter World Showcase, the experience expands even more. Booths and gallery spaces are filled with truly amazing pieces from talented artists. Every style imaginable is represented — from classic character portraits to modern interpretations of Disney icons.

What made it even more magical was that every piece was Disney-inspired. Seeing beloved characters and familiar park scenes reimagined in so many creative ways add an extra layer of nostalgia and wonder. It’s not just a festival you walk through — it’s an experience you step inside.

The Food Is Truly a Work of Art

As beautiful as the artwork was, the booths and food along the way were just as impressive.
Every stand felt thoughtfully curated, and everything looked like it belonged in a gallery just
as much as it did on a plate. The smells drifting through World Showcase alone were enough
to make you stop in your tracks.
One of my favorite treats of the day? The coffee

It wasn’t just delicious — it was creative. The presentation alone felt festival-worthy, and the
flavors were smooth, rich, and the perfect mid-day boost while exploring the booths. The
purple whip cream on top was amazing!
And then… the steak.

To say it was “to die for” might be an understatement. Perfectly cooked, tender, and paired
with fresh vegetables and a beautifully crisp potato. It tasted just as incredible as it looked.
This is one of those festival dishes that makes you pause and say, “Okay… this is next level.”
But what really stood out to me was how everything was plated so intentionally.

Even the savory dishes were arranged with artistic drizzles, vibrant colors, and thoughtful
composition. It truly reinforces the theme of the festival — food isn’t just something you eat
here… it’s part of the art.
And then there were the smaller bites that packed huge flavor

Simple, shareable plates like this are perfect for strolling the festival. You can taste a little bit
of everything without committing to one large meal — which makes it ideal for couples, girls’
trips, or even families wanting to sample something new.
Between the coffee, the steak, and everything in between, the booths delivered on every
level — visually and flavor-wise.
It’s not just a food festival. It’s an experience you savor.

Why This Festival Is Now One of My Favorites

Overall, the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts completely exceeded my expectations.
Between the immersive artwork, the incredible food booths, and the energy throughout
World Showcase, it quickly became one of my favorite festivals to attend.
It has a different kind of feel than the others — it’s colorful without being overwhelming,
interactive without being hectic, and elevated while still feeling playful. It truly captures the
creative heart of Disney

Walking around World Showcase with the lagoon in the background, live artists working
nearby, and festival banners lining the promenade made the entire experience feel special.
It’s one of those festivals that slows you down in the best way.
And of course, I had to grab the classic “I was here” moment.

Experiencing this firsthand is exactly why I love staying educated and immersed in what I plan
for my clients. When I recommend a festival, it’s because I’ve walked it, tasted it, and truly
enjoyed it myself.
As the day turned into night, the atmosphere only became more magical.

The lights reflecting on the water, the soft music in the background, and that sense of creative
energy lingering in the air — it was the perfect ending to a truly beautiful day at EPCOT.
